Abstract
Brooke Weitzman ('14) co-founded the Elder Law and Disability Rights Center in Santa Ana, CA, incorporating the organization in 2016 not long after graduating from UCI Law. Since then, she has tirelessly advocated for Orange County's homeless population, including partnering with longtime civil rights attorneys and advocates to bring a major federal lawsuit that is dramatically shifting the approach to homelessness in Orange County. Countless articles about the lawsuit and Weitzman's advocacy have appeared across the Los Angeles Daily Journal, Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, Voice of OC, and more.
